Considered safe. This class of medications includes non-steroidal anti-inflammatories such as ketorolac, ibuprofen, naproxen, and acetaminophen (paracetamol). These types of medications may be valuable in reducing the need for opioid analgesics, especially when dosing regimens are maximized and they are used in a scheduled, around-the-clock fashion rather than given on an intermittent as needed basis.
