West Nile Virus
The presence of West Nile virus has been documented in 1 infected woman whose infant developed antibodies but the infant remained asymptomatic. Breastfeeding has not been identified as a significant route of transmission of West Nile infection in areas of the world endemic with West Nile virus.1 There is no absolute indication to pump and dump.
